Say yes to the invitation.

You will never see it coming, but some of the best friends you will ever have are on the other side of saying yes.

Some of the most important people you will ever have in your life are on the other side of that seemingly insignificant invitation.

You might not feel like it. Say yes anyway.

Show up anyway.

You will meet some people who just aren’t your people. And that is ok.

But you will never meet the ones who are your people if you are never willing to step out.

I used to hide. All the time. It was my goal to be invisible.

Then somewhere along the way I realized that I wasn’t the only one hiding.

I wasn’t the only one lonely and unsure of how to make new friends in a new place.

Sometimes it seems like everyone else has their “tribe.” Not everyone does. In fact, a lot of them really don’t.

Someone, somewhere, needs a friend like you.
